I’ve got a camera sitting somewhere with a whole bunch of super cool photos from my recent adventures and I promise, I’ll find it eventually. Paul R. and I had a fantastic weekend in Fruita, which could have been less fantastic had we let a series of technical glitches ruin the fun (starting with a broken spoke on my bike and culminating in lost brakes on my truck!) While my truck was getting repaired at the Firestone in Grand Junction, we were able to hit the famous Lunch Loops trails. Lunch Loops link into the Ribbon, which is perhaps my favorite ride in Colorado! Great times and more to come on all that later.

Getting back home, I’ve ridden quite a bit already this spring. I love hitting up the super hard stuff in Fruita because it makes my eyes see new and different lines on the trails in town. I’ve been practicing drops on my bike and have a few projects at Heil Ranch with some big ones 4-5 foot variety, yowzas!) I also have potential travel trips to mtn bike to Dominica and possibly Ireland.

Oh, and in pet news — Fremont has been neutered. Poor little guy. He’s taking it better than I am– I feel awful for him! We only have 2 more weeks before he can officially hike on Mount Sanitas with me– yahoo!!!!
