Cyclist hit by lighting while riding her bike in Boulder:

http://www.dailycamera.com/news/2009/aug/03/cyclist-struck-lightning-north-boulder/

I was JUST having this discussion if it was possible to get struck by lightning while bike riding (perhaps the rubber tires insulate the ground?) I figured the tires didn't matter because the bolt would hit the highest point -- IE the rider atop the bike.

Looks like she'll be ok, so a reluctant thanks to her for solving the argument!
