In late January of this year, I was fortunate enough to partake in an incredible Antarctic journey through my company, Natural Habitat Adventures. Specifically, I was taking part in our exclusive Antarctic Expedition that features a full tour of not only Antarctica but also The Falkland Islands and South Georgia Island.

One of my traveling comapnions was Alek, who is the husband of one of my co-workers. He’s much more savvy with a camera than I and thus, when the trip was done he had thousands of incredible photos to share. After paring down the very best, he’s put a short series of wild pictures on his website.

I hope you all enjoy these pictures and if you look closely, I’m in quite a few! And yes, the polar plunge picture is real, no Photoshop. Note that Paul on the left of me in that particular photo is actually holding a camera. I’m not sure what his gameplan was… take an underwater photo of all three of us when our core temperatures are below 80 degrees?

Anyhow, enjoy!
